The context: during my third year at university I was vice-president of the Swimming Society, and as the only graphic design student I was in charge of the brand (or rather, rebrand) and social media page.

We started the year as a dying society that had been through a couple of rough years. We as a committee had some fond memories of our time as members, and we knew there was potential.

My main focus became to revamp the branding to make the society as recognisable as possible. Much of this involved designing exciting social media posts easily identifiable as ours.

Our Instagram page slowly built up to be a journal of social events and at the end of the year the society was once again flourishing.

Something we were all quite excited about was the line of merch were were able to produce. It was a huge achievement for the society, and a fun project for me.
