translation: a home for everyone

The brief: design a logo for the Parish of Redona (Bergamo, IT) to represent a community of different people all welcome under one roof.

As the slogan was going to be A home for everyone, early on I decided to create the shape of a house as the main frame. The next issue was to represent the people in the community, and even harder was to show their differences, and make them into strengths.

The use of the three primary colours solves this issue. They are at the root of all colours and therefore contain them. The triangular pattern of the house was inspired by plywood, alluding to construction and structure.

The logo won the competition for the rebranding of the Parish.
